يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO youٱلَّذِينَwhoءَامَنُوٓاْbelieve!إِذَاWhenقُمْتُمْyou stand upإِلَىforٱلصَّلَوٲةِthe prayer,فَٱغْسِلُواْthen washوُجُوهَكُمْyour facesوَأَيْدِيَكُمْand your handsإِلَىtillٱلْمَرَافِقِthe elbowsوَٱمْسَحُواْand wipeبِرُءُوسِكُمْyour headsوَأَرْجُلَكُمْand your feetإِلَىtillٱلْكَعْبَيْنِ‌ۚthe ankles.وَإِنBut ifكُنتُمْyou areجُنُبًا(in) a state of ceremonial impurityفَٱطَّهَّرُواْ‌ۚthen purify yourselves.وَإِنBut ifكُنتُمyou areمَّرْضَىٰٓillأَوْorعَلَىٰonسَفَرٍa journeyأَوْorجَآءَhas comeأَحَدٌany oneمِّنكُمof youمِّنَfromٱلْغَآئِطِthe toiletأَوْorلَـٰمَسْتُمُhas (had) contactٱلنِّسَآءَ(with) the womenفَلَمْand notتَجِدُواْyou findمَآءًwater,فَتَيَمَّمُواْthen do tayyammumصَعِيدًا(with) earthطَيِّبًاclean,فَٱمْسَحُواْthen wipeبِوُجُوهِكُمْyour facesوَأَيْدِيكُمand your handsمِّنْهُ‌ۚwith it.مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُAllah (does) not intendلِيَجْعَلَto makeعَلَيْكُمfor youمِّنْanyحَرَجٍdifficultyوَلَـٰكِنbutيُرِيدُHe intendsلِيُطَهِّرَكُمْto purify youوَلِيُتِمَّand to completeنِعْمَتَهُۥHis Favorعَلَيْكُمْupon youلَعَلَّكُمْso that you mayتَشْكُرُونَ(be) grateful.

Bubenheim & Elyas O die ihr glaubt, wenn ihr euch zum Gebet aufstellt, dann wascht euch das Gesicht und die Hände bis zu den Ellbogen und streicht euch über den Kopf und (wascht euch) die Füße bis zu den Knöcheln. Und wenn ihr im Zustand der Unreinheit seid, dann reinigt euch. Und wenn ihr krank seid oder auf einer Reise oder jemand von euch vom Abort kommt oder ihr Frauen berührt habt und dann kein Wasser findet, so wendet euch dem guten Erdboden zu und streicht euch damit über das Gesicht und die Hände. Allah will euch keine Bedrängnis auferlegen, sondern Er will euch reinigen und Seine Gunst an euch vollenden, auf daß ihr dankbar sein möget.

وَٱذْكُرُواْAnd rememberنِعْمَةَ(the) Favorٱللَّهِ(of) Allahعَلَيْكُمْupon youوَمِيثَـٰقَهُand His covenantٱلَّذِىwhichوَاثَقَكُمHe bound youبِهِۦٓwith [it]إِذْwhenقُلْتُمْyou said,سَمِعْنَا`We hearedوَأَطَعْنَا‌ۖand we obeyed;`وَٱتَّقُواْand fearٱللَّهَ‌ۚAllah.إِنَّIndeed,ٱللَّهَAllahعَلِيمُۢ(is) All-Knowerبِذَاتِof whatٱلصُّدُورِ(is in) the breasts.

Bubenheim & Elyas Und gedenkt Allahs Gunst an euch und des Abkommens, das Er mit euch getroffen hat, als ihr sagtet: "Wir hören und gehorchen!" Und fürchtet Allah. Gewiß, Allah weiß über das Innerste der Brüste Bescheid.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO youٱلَّذِينَwhoءَامَنُواْbelieve!كُونُواْBeقَوَّٲمِينَsteadfastلِلَّهِfor Allahشُهَدَآءَ(as) witnessesبِٱلْقِسْطِ‌ۖin justice,وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْand let not prevent youشَنَـَٔـانُhatredقَوْمٍ(of) a peopleعَلَىٰٓ[upon]أَلَّاthat notتَعْدِلُواْ‌ۚyou do justice.ٱعْدِلُواْBe justهُوَitأَقْرَبُ(is) nearerلِلتَّقْوَىٰ‌ۖto [the] piety.وَٱتَّقُواْAnd fearٱللَّهَ‌ۚAllah;إِنَّindeed,ٱللَّهَAllahخَبِيرُۢ(is) All-Awareبِمَاof whatتَعْمَلُونَyou do.

Bubenheim & Elyas O die ihr glaubt, seid Wahrer (der Sache) Allahs als Zeugen für die Gerechtigkeit. Und der Haß, den ihr gegen (bestimmte) Leute hegt, soll euch ja nicht dazu bringen, daß ihr nicht gerecht handelt. Handelt gerecht. Das kommt der Gottesfurcht näher. Und fürchtet Allah. Gewiß, Allah ist Kundig dessen, was ihr tut.
